Type of firm
Translation and notary services for UK employers
Certified translations, notarised copies and apostilles for visa and licence applications.
What they do
The document services a sponsored hire or a licence application often needs: certified translations of qualifications, references and civil documents, notarised copies, and apostille legalisation through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office for documents going the other way.
What to check before you hire one
UKVI accepts a translation only if it is certified by a qualified translator with their credentials and contact details on it, so ask how the certification is worded. Notaries are regulated by the Faculty Office and listed on its register.
