1. Who we are

RootHR Services (https://roothrservices.co.uk) is operated by Root HR Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at 1T Southgate House, Basildon, SS14 1BN, United Kingdom. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Root HR Ltd.

2. What this site does

This site is a directory. It lists services and the independent companies that provide them, and lets you send a request for a quote. We are not the supplier of those services, except where the listed company is Root HR Ltd itself.

3. Your contract is with the company, not with us

If you engage a company found through this site, the contract for that work is between you and that company. Their terms, their price, their professional indemnity insurance and their complaints procedure apply. We are not a party to it and are not liable for the work done, not done, or done badly.

4. Information and prices

Prices shown are guide prices supplied by the company and exclude VAT unless stated. They are an indication, not an offer. Only a written quote from the company is binding. We take reasonable care over the information on this site but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.

5. Not professional advice

Nothing on this site — including the blog — is legal, immigration, tax, accounting or HR advice for your situation. Immigration advice in the UK may only be given by a person regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority or the SRA. Take advice on your own facts before acting.

6. Quote requests

When you submit a quote request you confirm the information is accurate and that you are authorised to send it on behalf of the business named. We pass your request to the companies that cover the services you selected, and to any company you named. We do not sell your details to anyone else.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not use the site to send false, misleading or unlawful information.
• Do not scrape, copy or republish the directory or any substantial part of it.
• Do not attempt to interfere with the site or gain unauthorised access to it.

8. Intellectual property

The content, design and arrangement of this site belong to Root HR Ltd or its licensors. Company logos belong to the companies they identify and are shown with permission to identify that company.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts or anticipated savings, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from your use of this site or from your dealings with a company listed on it.

10. Listings

Companies pay to be listed. Payment does not affect the order in which companies appear, the services shown against them, or what they quote you. We may remove a listing at any time. A “Checked by Root HR” badge means we have seen evidence of registration, regulation or insurance at the time of listing; it is not a guarantee of the company’s work.

11. Changes

We may change these terms. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the version that applies.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
